Olympic closing ceremony

So, a little late with the post now the Olympics has finished...brilliant display by the Brits, etc, etc....

What a farce that closing ceremony was...the mad Boris not knowing what to do with the flag, Beckam managing to kick a ball a few feet, and the MUSIC!!!! AAAGHHH!!!

Fecking nightmare...one of my all time idols Jimmy Page, reduced to a blithering, gormless pub musician strumming along to "whole lotta Love" with the overrated Leona Lewis barking away...tedious, awful, noise, with the whole fecking World watching them make fools of themselves. Fuck sake Jimmy. You was cool once.

Now, I like Leona and think she is indeed a talent once you get beyond the bullshit, but what were the organisors thinking? Horrible.

Whole Lotta crap.

Still, at least Arsenal qualified for the Champions league...

John Turk-R.I.P.

My dear friend John died last week, after a relapse of the bowel complaint he had last year.

John was a guitar legend around the covers circuit in Essex, and also a huge Arsenal fan...I have fantastic memories of standing on the North Bank with him, and '89 Anfield will always rate as one of the best nights of my life...he had requested that football shirts be worn at his funeral.

Fantastic guy, will miss him loads.EIE.

Dr. Who? MOJO, charlton heston

How bad has Dr. Who become?

Catherine Tate, what a joke of an assistant, terrible idea...completey killed it...and what the feck was that last episode about with the fat blob things? Utter rubbish, sort it out BBC...

Bob Derwood Andrews called the other day, tells me he has 4 pages in MOJO, an extract from his forthcoming book, cool...

Arsenal's season has gone pear shaped, muppets...

Spooncurve artwork, etc...

So...Robert has finished the artwork for CLAIRESENTIENCE, the new SPOONCURVE album, looks fantastic...D.O.R. tell us that a May release is planned...Apollons CROWNED is now available on ITUNES...D.O.R. are planning a download only compilation of their own artists...I'm working on another APOLLON album, so will submit a track from that, perhaps. Possible SPOONCURVE gig in May...I bought some Muslimgauze items at auction, some of the money going to charity.

Ac Milan 0 Arsenal 2...incredible result out there, fantastic football from Arsenal with Cesc, Flamini, Hleb and Adebayor absolutely dominant throughout...first Englism tean to beat Milan at the San Sero, and now through to the quarter finals of the Champions League...Chelsea lost to Barnsley in the FA cup, and Man United lost at home to Portsmouth, spurs lost at home to PSV in the UEFA cup.

Eduardo

Eduardo, the Arsenal Croatian International footballer had his leg broken after an awful, reckless challenge by Martin Taylor of Birmingham City.

Hope he recovers {he'll be out for at least 9 months} and becomes the star he was supposed to be before this terrible foul took place.
