Billy Bass Nelson
Just heard Billy Bass Nelsons {Funkadelic, Parliament} recent album..O. G. Funk...great stuff...going to dig out a collaboration with him I did in Walthamstow, London {yes, Walthamstow!} with David Salvi and Miles Brennan, hear what it sounds like and contact the man. He loved my bass playing, I was very chuffed.
Nice guy, very crazy, true legend.

Kate Bush-sexual healing
Ok, as a dedicated fan of anything Kate, I bought my copy of "king of the mountain''...excellent track, nice package, great video...10 years with no release, I'd expect nothing less.
BUT....what the hell is with the "sexual healing" cover? Bad choice, in my opinion. I never thought I wouldn't like one of Kates tracks, but this is horrible.I gather it was an earlier track with Uilean pipe player David Spillane that didn't get used. It should have stayed that way.

APOLLON at FONO 3
The next FONO event is to be held this coming sunday, 16th October 2005 at Y, 61 regent studios, 8 Andrews road, london e8...doors open 6.30 pm, APOLLON performance at 7.15 pm.
Films will be shown by: Keiichi ogata, Martin Picton, Nomadstation, Richard Gallon, Olga Mink and Pirate Hairwaves.
The MARTIN PICTON film will be accompanied by a live soundtrack from APOLLON.
